Wine tasting and castle tour around Lake Balaton
From 80 Euro
With this tour you will explore the stunning area surrounded with basalt mountains on the north shore of the Lake Balaton, dotted with architectural relics, charming villages, castle ruins and churches, you can only fall in love with.
All our tours are individually tailored and will be adjusted to your preferences and pace. We organise both private and group tours, but the most important factor is, with us everyone is treated as VIP.
First you will see the beautiful Csopak wine region then off to the Castle of Szigliget upon request, on top of the hill, from where the panorama of Lake Balaton is just stunning. Between April and August there are several concerts within the castle grounds as well as dramatic castle games so you might be lucky to see one of the performances.
After the castle you will have the well deserved wine tasting in some of the Northern Lake Balaton's unique wine cellars.
For the more active ones there are plenty of trails in the basalt mountains to explore and enjoy the superb views. Your driver will also show you the beautiful Tihany and Balatonfured region.

See a recent review from one of our lovely guests Emily:
"This tour was worth every penny. My very professional driver showed up on time at 10am and took me to three vineyards and a couple other stops. All the vineyards were unbelievable! I am usually not a white wine drinker, but the region we went to is known for its white wines. They were dry and not fruity, so more on par with red wines I usually enjoy. The amount of food and drink I received was not expected! The tastings were more like full glasses of wine, and plenty of food was provided to soak up the alcohol. You are truly treated like a VIP. Also, worth noting that I travelled by myself so I could take as much or little time I wanted at each stop. The tour ended up being almost 12 hours! If you are traveling to Budapest, please try out this tour." Emily from USA
