A day trip to the historic town of Szekesfehervar is a must when traveling to Hungary. For an extra architectural beauty we will show you the stunning Brunswick Castle nearby with its Beethoven Museum.
Szekesfehervar is located between Budapest and Lake Balaton and it’s one of the oldest towns in Hungary about an hour drive from the capital.
It was the official location for the coronation ceremonies and the first seat of the Hungarian kings.
The Varoshaz square with the Bishops Palace, the St. Stephan Cathedral and the romantic Bory castle which lays a bit farther from the inner town gives unforgettable experience as well the colorful events and festivals during the whole year.
