Szentendre, the compelling baroque town by the River Danube with many museums, art galleries and churches is a unique experience. 

Visegrád with its superb views famous for the remains of the Renaissance summer residence of King Matthias. Nearby cafes, eateries, pubs and bars can be stumbled upon. You can also enjoy summer evening concerts at the Royal Palace as well as take part in the Visegrád  Royal Palace Fair. Interesting activities can be done in the area, like the summer and winter bobsled on the hill-side Nagyvillám. Also it is worth going on the "Canopy tour" - you have to climb above the trees on a rope way.

The Baroque Vác on the left bank of the Danube is one of the oldest towns of Hungary with its cathedral and triumphal arch.
