This private tour will be a great day out when visiting Hungary, giving you a chance to explore the countryside and the small town charm near Budapest. During this tour you will be able to spend as much or as little time at each location as you wish, setting your own pace.

We have several options during our Danube Bend Tour ranging from the traditional route of Szentendre town and Visegrad Royal Palace or the less known but very charming town of Vac.

Szentendre boasts the best art galleries and prettiest cobble-stoned streets with baroque architecture, churches of various faiths, narrow side streets about 30 minutes drive north of the capital.

Visegrad is the former royal town with its beautiful royal palace. It was the favourite summer residence of King Matthias, the greatest of the enlightened rulers. With a fantastic panorama over the Danube you will soon understand why King Matthias enjoyed this place so much. The annual Palace Games are staged here every July. Vac is a small, charming town by the River Danube with fairs and wine stalls, it has a stone gate arch which is the only one in the country and lots of historical monuments. The town is seated at the foot of the Naszály Mountains, giving the town a very adventagous location.
